Hope all of you had a Happy Thanksgiving!

Mine was quiet, but very nice. It was good to hang out at home with my family. I like to cook and don't get the chance that often, so I had fun helping out with the big dinner and learning to make the stuffing that has been in my family for generations.

Wanted to let you know that you can see and rate the playlists from each week's radio show by visiting the playlist page of my website. Hope you'll check it out when you get a chance.

As always, thanks so much for listening to the show; it's one of the things I'm most thankful for, this Thanksgiving season and always.

Hey everyone,

Hope you enjoyed the show today! It was great having my opening theme back -- the show just hasn't been the same without Marvin's "End of the Century Waltz" kicking it off.

I especially loved the last set of the afternoon, from "Peppermint Store" by the Blue Shield Band to Chris Mills' "Mothra (Won't You Please Be Quiet)." If you have a chance, let me know what your favorite part of the show was today. I'm always curious to know what you guys think.

We had our station meeting the other night. It was good to see some of the jocks that I never run into since I'm only on the air on Saturdays. WFDU has so many great shows -- be sure to check out the best classic country show on the planet, Paul Bain's Let There Be Country, Marc Copeland's wonderful Jazz Influences, and so many more, including Mario's New Music Legacy, which follows my show right at 6PM. To find out more about the shows on WFDU, please visit www.wfdu.fm. Unless you're into Britney Spears, you're bound to find something to your liking on our airwaves!

Until next time, take good care everybody. Bye...

Hope you all enjoyed the show yesterday and that you all got to hear Donal Hinely's song "Talkin' Cheap Trick Blues." It brought back a lot of memories for me. My friends and I always used to drive around, listening to the radio, going to lots of concerts and just loving being together.

Luckily for me, we still do lots of those same things, even though not nearly as often as we used to. Still, any time we get the chance, it's still so much fun and music often plays a part in those gatherings, although it's not necessarily Cheap Trick. (Even though I was singing along in the studio to the "Mommy's alright, Daddy's alright..." part -- I betcha you were too!)

Hope you hear some music that you want to share on the Carnival of Song. Have a great week!
